Supplier Code of Conduct

TidyDab believes in doing business the right way from how we design our products to how they are made. We expect every supplier, vendor, and partner to share our commitment to fair labor, safe working conditions, environmental care, and honest business practices.

Our Commitment

Our promise to families depends on the trust they place in us. We can only keep that trust if everyone who helps bring TidyDab products to life works responsibly and with respect for people and the planet.

This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards we expect from all suppliers and subcontractors. These standards are part of every contract and are non-negotiable. We will never knowingly work with any company that does not share these values.

Labor Practices

TidyDab requires that all suppliers treat their workers with dignity and respect. We expect compliance with all applicable labor laws, including but not limited to:

  • Providing fair wages that meet or exceed local minimum wage requirements
  • Ensuring reasonable working hours and overtime in line with local laws
  • Prohibiting forced, bonded, or indentured labor of any kind
  • Strictly prohibiting child labor, workers must meet minimum legal working age and be employed voluntarily
  • Ensuring freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining where permitted by law
  • Promoting non-discrimination and equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, religion, age, disability, or other status

Health and Safety

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment. This includes:

  • Maintaining clean, well-lit, and adequately ventilated workspaces
  • Providing necessary protective equipment and training to workers
  • Having clear procedures for accident prevention and emergency response
  • Monitoring and maintaining safe machinery and tools
  • Ensuring safe storage and handling of hazardous materials

We encourage suppliers to implement best practices that go beyond minimum legal requirements to protect the well-being of their employees.

Environmental Responsibility

TidyDab cares about the environmental impact of every product we create. We expect our suppliers to do the same. All suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations
  • Work to minimize waste, emissions, and pollution from their operations
  • Use resources efficiently and responsibly
  • Dispose of hazardous materials safely
  • Support our goals to find and use more sustainable materials whenever possible

We prefer to work with suppliers who invest in environmentally friendly processes and continuously look for ways to reduce their footprint.

Legal and Ethical Business Practices

All suppliers must conduct business with honesty and integrity. We expect:

  • Compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws
  • Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion, or embezzlement
  • Respect for intellectual property rights and confidential information
  • Accurate record-keeping and truthful reporting to TidyDab and any relevant authorities

Any form of unethical behavior can damage the trust we have built with families, and we take this responsibility seriously.

Monitoring and Accountability

We believe that clear expectations must be backed by clear oversight. TidyDab reserves the right to:

  • Conduct announced or unannounced audits of supplier facilities
  • Request documentation and records that demonstrate compliance
  • Work with suppliers to create improvement plans if issues are found
  • Terminate relationships with suppliers who fail to meet our standards or refuse to make improvements

We value honest communication and encourage suppliers to raise any concerns or questions early so they can be addressed openly and constructively.

Continuous Improvement

We know that responsible sourcing is an ongoing journey. TidyDab works with suppliers who share our commitment to learning and improving. We expect suppliers to stay informed about best practices, update their policies as needed, and train employees to understand and meet these expectations.
